On Sunday, April 28, 2019, 64 Sonova employees from Switzerland and the UK ran for Hear the World and raised awareness and funds for the foundation.
Despite the cold temperatures and the rain 14 teams of four runners participated in the Zurich Marathon Teamrun for Hear the World. Congratulations especially also to the Sonova Power Women Team, who ran on Sunday at the Zurich Marathon Teamrun for Hear the World. The Sonova Power Women Team ranked 2nd in the category Teamrun Women with a time of 3:11:11. Well done Anne, Nele, Mevina and Kei. The men Sonova Power Team also impressed. They ranked 4. in the category Teamrun Companies with an overall time of 2:46:58. Well done, Mauro, Rafael, Tim and Stefan!
On the same day, 8 Advanced Bionics UK employees ran at the Longhorn Race in Nottinghamshire 10 kilometers and raised funds for the Hear the World Foundation. Most of the participants were new to running, have previously described themselves as 'not a runner' pre-2019, and some even have screws in their knees! However despite all odds, they did make the Impossible Possible.
With their athletic efforts and endurance and the generous support of various sponsors the teams have raised funds, which will directly benefit the Hear the World foundation’s projects worldwide!
